Hello Again,
The past day and a half on TJJ has been an emotional roller coaster. Before the fast we took the group to Har Herzl; Israel’s military cemetery where the heroes of the country have been laid to rest. The students heard inspiring stories about some of the brave soldiers of Israel. At night we had a program where all the TJJ advisors spoke about the various tragedies that the Jewish people have endured over the past 3000 years. Today we had the incredible opportunity to hear from Racheli Frankel; a mother who spoke about turning the tragedy of losing her son into a message of hope for Jews around the world. We broke our fast at an incredible restaurant in Jerusalem that quickly turned into a dance party with two other TJJ busses. Everyone is now emotionally and physically exhausted as we prepare for Yom NCSY tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Have a Great Night,
Yosef
