Hello Again,
Today marked our first day in Jerusalem. It was an emotional and intense day to say the least. We started off by going to Yad Vashem; Israel’s Holocaust museum. This experience was extrmemely emotional for many of your children as the museum does a fantastic job at portraying the beauty of Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust. Following this experience we headed to the old city of Jerusalem to go to the Kotel for the first time this trip. For many of the students it was their first time ever at the kotel. All the students had the opportunity to put letters in the wall and the feedback we received showed this wss a very positive experience. Following the Kotel the students toured the ancient water tunnels in the city of David. This evening we had the opportunity to hear a presentation from “Stand With Us” about Israel advocacy. Overall it was an exciting and fun filled day. Looking forward to hearing from all of you soon. Have a great night.
