Dear NCSY TJJ BUS 10 Family,

Shavua tov from Jerusalem!

Friday night was the most inspiring get together of busses 7,9 and 10. We prayed together on the roof of the Aish HaTorah Jerusalem World Center with a breathtaking view directly overlooking the Temple Mount and Kotel (Western Wall) [the view is the picture attached to the email]. We had the privilege of hearing from Rabbi Steven Burg, the former international director of NCSY, and co-founder of TJJ.

Following dinner at Aish HaTorah, we spent some time at the Kotel, and then rejoined for an amazing tisch where we sang and heard words of Torah from our fellow TJJ’ers.

On Shabbat day, we heard from Rabbi Micah Greenland, the current international director of NCSY, who spoke about taking time to appreciate the beauty of this world.

As Shabbat ended, we sang and cheered on the porch of our hotel, and we were joined by the other residents at the hotel in our chorus of songs. The energy was absolutely electric!
