Happily reunited, once more after a relaxing free Shabbat, TJJ Bus 10 was prepared for another great day of touring! First, we drove down to Beit shemesh to visit the Biblical Museum of Natural History. There, we learnt fascinating facts about various animals that call Israel home and ones that did in the times of the tanach. Then, we got to handle live animals of all sizes ranging from tiny lizards, to chickens, to a 12 foot long snake named “Cuddles” held by 10 people at once! Later, after driving through the negev, we stopped at the tomb of David Ben Gurion. We were inspired by how after helping Israel politically as the first prime minister, Ben Gurion chose to work on a kibbutz. He chose to help develop the desert into a thriving space and fufil the Israeli dream. Finally, we drove to the modern city of Eilat and were treated to delicious burgers and fries at BurgersBar and free time to see the fun attractions on the boardwalk.
